CIVIC RESPONSIBILITIES

 BEAUTIFICATION IS OUR MISSION

The Franklin Garden Club is an organization of women and men interested in the art of gardening and providing a beautification community service to the people of Franklin. The club is made up of gardeners from all levels, beginner to expert. Monthly meetings include educational lectures and hands-on workshops. Our civic involvement includes: maintaining the gardens on the Franklin Common, the plantings Downtown, scholarship to a Franklin HS student, and giving pine tree seedlings to every first grader in Franklin in the Spring.

Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month except July and August. We meet at 7:00 P.M. at St John's Episcopal Church, which is located at 237 Pleasant Street. Membership dues are $30.00 per year. Guests are always welcome and are charged $5.00 per meeting. For more information contact Nancy Rappa, Membership Coordinator @ 508-528-3823.
