Summer Math Links

Welcome

Summertime is a wonderful opportunity for families to spend time together without the daily pressures of homework, after school commitments and tight schedules. While we know that it’s important to encourage reading as a year-round pastime, it is also important to sustain math concepts and skills that have been learned and practiced during the school year.

How can we find new and interesting ways for students to review and retain these math skills over the summer? The district’s K-8 Math Content Enhancement Teachers (CET’s)have the answer! Our math specialists have developed enjoyable summer elementary and middle school math resources to support and maintain skills.

Click on the links below to find Summer Resources for Elementary School Math and Summer Resources for Middle School Math. These links will offer trusted websites and resources that include math puzzles, games, problem solving activities and projects. Participation is optional. Students are not required to return logs or materials to next year’s classroom/math teachers.
