MISSION

The mission of the Franklin Public Schools Music Department is to provide an environment that fosters the development of self-discipline, respect, and integrity. While encouraging a team mentality, the department strives to provide equal opportunity for students to develop their own critical and creative thinking skills through a comprehensive music curriculum that promotes a sense of belonging and self-worth. The program will provide an opportunity for students to share their achievements with peers, family, and the community. Through the study of music, students are encouraged to mature into lifelong learners and develop into self-motivated audience members, performers, and supporters of the arts.
