Franklin SEPAC Meeting Minutes – February 7th, 200Attendees: John Chickering John Forte Carol Cohen Pam Donelan Terri Morgan Jill Smith Beth Allard Mary Lou Costello Meeting opened by John Chickering at 7:01 pm. Minutes • Reviewed and approved last meeting minutes from December 6th, 2006. • Discussion on the July 4th booth and the advertisement of the booth. SEPAC wrappers was presented as one of the titles. Gatorade is the drink the booth will sell. John Forte has created a signup list for the times and dates volunteers will be required to man the booth. • The question was raised on how people who do not know of the Support Services Committee. A suggestion was given to pass out brochures in the Franklin pediatrician’s offices. Action: Terri Morgan has volunteered to chair this project. • The February 7th meeting was not advertised in the gazette. • The treasurer’s report was reviewed. A question was presented on reducing the amount spent on refreshments. • An alternative setting for a board meeting was discussed for a future Saturday evening. • Succession planning was discussed. Motion: Jill Smith to be the President Elect. The motion was seconded. All voted Jill as President Elect. Future Meetings March 21st, 2007 – Yelling Doesn’t Work! (subject material) April 25th, 2007 - Parents' Rights Workshop - by the Federation for Children with Special Needs (FCSN). Meeting adjoined at 7:24 pm on February 7th, 2007.
