Attendees
John Chickering
Mary Lou Costello
John Forte
Jill Smith

Meeting opened by John Chickering at 7:07 pm.

Minutes
• Reviewed and approved last meeting minutes from February 7th, 2007.

General Discussions/Actions /Motions
• A motion was made to nominate John Forte as President. The motion was seconded and voted in.
• A motion was made to nominate Jill Smith as Vice President. The motion was seconded and voted in.
• A motion was made to nominate Mary Lou Costello as Secretary. The motion was seconded and voted in.
• There is still an opening for a treasurer of the SEPAC.
• The SEPAC is still looking for volunteers to man the July 4th booth where the SEPAC is selling wraps and Gatorade. Families came up and mentioned they did not know that the SEPAC had a booth at the July 4th celebration at the Common.
• A suggestion was made by a parent in the meeting to place a link on the school web pages to the SEPAC page. They stated they did not know it existed and it was not easy to find. Action: Joanne will speak with the principals of the schools and get back to Jill on the suggestions for more visibility of the Franklin SEPAC website.
• One parent asked if we could provide a list of all special needs students. They were told that it is a matter of student confidentiality and there is no way to provide a list. The SEPAC does not know of the list of students throughout Franklin that are diagnosed with a special education need. It was suggested that the parents contact the Team Chair or liaison in the attended school. These resources should be able to give you resources that may be in need. If not Joanne Cudmore has suggested that they contact her personally.
