Our Curriculum

Math

x Lessons will match the NCTM and Massachusetts Frameworks-Number Sense, Patterns and Relations, Geometry and Measurement, and Probability and Statistics.

x Third Grade will be using University of Chicago's Everyday Math.

Language Arts and Reading

x The teacher's role in this student centered curriculum is to awaken the interest to learn, to enable each student to become literate, and to encourage mastery of effective communications in all disciplines.

Social Studies

x Our focus is answering the essential question -"Why Live in America?"

x Activities will match the expectations of the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks-Massachusetts history and geography, including Pilgrims, and immigration.

Science
