Circle of Friends is a club for anyone looking for a different, rewarding, enriching experience. It was started in order to give students with special needs an opportunity to get together with other students in a supportive, fun setting. Students participate in a variety of activities like playing board games, arts and crafts, sports, cooking, watching videos and other activities that enhance social interaction with typical peers. Circle of Friends is open to all students who want to become involved in developing friendships with students who, because of intellectual challenges, find it difficult to form friendships outside of school. We meet every Thursday at 2:15 p.m. at F.H.S. in room H115. For more information you can contact Ellen Magner at magnere @ franklin.k12.ma.us
