School Committee Representative

Welcome

The School Committee Representative is elected in the spring of each year by and from the membership of the incoming Student Advisory Committee.

The purpose of the Student Representative to the School Committee is to:

• Provide for a meaningful link and promote a mutual sense of respect and understanding between the student body and school committee.

• Represent before the school committee the attitudes, interests, and concerns of the student body.

• Carry to the school committee and support specific propos- als and items of concern to the student body, and to initiate, on the behalf of the student body and in conjunction with the student council, projects and proposals for presentation to the school committee.
