held on Wednesday at the Easton Sheep Pasture. It was an awesome day to run as
the weather was perfect for cross country running. The Panthers had several
outstanding performances. Mary Cole finished 2nd in Race 1 which
featured the number 1 runners from all the league teams. Mary ran a solid race
and finished easily in 2nd place overall. Boys League Jamboree 9/9/09
Meet Summary The All 7 races were run on the same hilly,
1.5 mile, all trail course. Running in different races, Commander Hood
took the fastest Senior Butera fought off a last second challenge by
another runner to record Melfi
(5:39.3 pace)
posted a faster time than May (5:42.7 pace), making him Lewin
(5:47.3 pace)
finished right behind O’Donoghue, and Hamlin (5:55.3 pace) was right
behind Lewin. That rounds out a solid 9
runners maintaining a sub 6 minute per mile pace. A solid “B” pack of runners: Hamlin,
Smith, Roy and Dutton have formed, followed by fast converging “C” group of:
mini-Gutkowski, Hart, Cannon and Cotter. With Soughton and Sharon next on the agenda, the |
