Franklin High School Baseball was noted in the July issue of Collegiate Baseball, for their 2 triple plays in 2003, a rarity, as u know!

In June of 2002 the Varsity Baseball Team won the 1st Annual Statewide Sportsmanship Award. They were selected amongst all the schools in Massachusetts to receive this great honor. They were picked for their great display of teamwork, fair play, and responsible conduct. This award is a great honor to receive and the Varsity Baseball Team made our school proud. As a reward for their great achievement they were guests of the Boston Red Sox on July 2nd to go to a game at Fenway Park and be honored for their achievement.
