Panthers Booster Club Meeting
Minutes January 5,
2009 6:30 pm Budget
Discussed
budget for 2008-2009. There are not any
major purchases for the year. Budget is
in good shape and an excellent ending balance is projected. FUNDRAISERS Tagging Dates for tagging are
on Saturday, January 17, and Sunday, January 18. All teams/girls will participate in one 3
hour shift at the following: Stop & Shop: Saturday,
Jan 17, (8 am 4 pm) Sunday, Jan 18,
(9 am 3 pm) Dunkin Donuts: 8 am 12 noon Saturday and Sunday on 140
near Stop & Shop Shaws: Saturday,
Jan 17, (8 am 4 pm) Sunday,
Jan 18, (9 am 3 pm) Program Book A huge thank you to
Rob Corak for his dedication and hard work that has made this program book
successful in all aspects! Concessions Thank you to Donna
Iafolla, and Ruthie Hiser who have volunteered to run this. Please check your
emails for notification of your volunteer date.
We expect less money this year due to lack of Friday games. Raffles Discussed the idea of
inviting Metro and Recreational teams to attend the varsity game on either
January 16 or 30. If they wear their
uniform or team shirt, they receive a raffle ticket. Prizes will be a gift certificate to Ricks
restaurant (possibly). Discussed the
potential of having a foul shooting contest during half time. Discussed another Raffle fundraiser all players
selling 5 tickets ($5 each) for chances for 4 tickets to a Red Sox game! Steve Doherty agreed to supply those
tickets. A big thank you to Steve! This will be an easy sell which will make for
a great profit. OTHER Senior Night Rhonda Kale will
chair this event. Possible dates
discussed are February 6 or February 16. Banquet Date discussed is
Sunday, March 15. Next
meeting will be held on January 26 Please come All players parents are
WELCOME!! |
