WelcomeFranklin Lady Panthers Booster Club1/11/10 Meeting Minutes Agenda Items: * Budget Update: Preliminary budget for 2009/10 projects total revenue of $10,484, total expenses of $7,682 and cash balance of $3,483. * Program Book Status: Estimated net revenue is better than expected at 4.7K. Sponsors will receive their own copy. It was mentioned that one of the team parents may be able to help with printing extra copies. Most advertisers have paid and volunteers have been assigned to follow up with those outstanding. * Calendar Raffle Status: Thank you to the players for their good participation. This will be a nice fundraiser for the club. * Tagging: When: Superbowl weekend – Sat & Sun Where: Stop&Shop, Meathouse, Post Office (Sat only) What time: 8:00-3:30 Sat and 8:00-1:00 Sun How long per: 2 ½ hour time slots Who: All players will be assigned a time slot and Team Managers will also be asked to help. Steve D. and Paul G. will coordinate time slots. * Youth Night (Town and Metro Basketball Night): We are planning to hold this on Wed, Jan 27th when we play Foxboro. There will be a raffle and other prizes. We hope Franklin girls playing in our youth programs will come out to cheer on the HS girls and encourage them to wear their jerseys. Please spread the word. * Gold & Silver Night Details to follow. Planning to also include a raffle and silent auction. * Volunteers for Videotaping?? We are looking for a few good parent volunteers who are willing to help the team by videotaping the varsity games. Those interested should contact Rob Corak. Thank you! * Banquet Looking ahead, the banquet is usually held mid-late March. Details to follow.
