8/26/08: Get a notebook; get textbook covered; Class Expectations tear-off signed by student & parent;

8/28: learn endings of Declensions I,II,III on case ending chart; look over case use chart to see where you may need to ask questions for review; explore this website a bit.

8/29: prepare for quiz on the first five columns of case endings: know the number of the declension, the gender(s) included, and the case endings.

9/1: Labor Day--no school

9/2: Continue review of Case Use Chart.

9/3: Look over Principal Parts Chart and Present System Chart to see if you understand what they are telling you. You should be familiar with this material from your previous Latin courses

9/4: begin studying vocab for chapters 1-12

9/5-7: work on translating Review II worksheet sentences; study vocabs for Ch. 1 - 12

9/8: no class

9/9: study verb charts to prepare for quiz on verb forms (present tense only) tomorrow

9/10: Continue translating sentences on Rev. II worksheet. Consider the kinds of corrections we made in class to sentence translations, and look again at the translations you attempted. Make any necessary revisions, and/or prepare questions for class regarding noun and verb forms.

9/11: Finish review of noun & verb forms; sentence translations; vocabulary 1 -7 & 8 - 12; test on this material next week.

9/12-14: review imperatives on p. 74, and genitive case on pp. 80-82; on p. 82, do the even-numbered sentences in ex. b, c, & d.

9/15: study for test tomorrow: forms of declension I, II, and III-reg. nouns; all 4 conjugations in the present tense; case uses on the Case Use Chart; vocab. chapters 1 - 12.

9/16: p. 102, read Word Study III; write exercises 1 & 2
