I hope you have enjoyed the elective course American Society through Film. I have really enjoyed working with all of you and wish you the very best in all your future endeavors. Please take this time to complete the following survey:

1. List the top five favorite films that you watched this semester.

2. List the five least favorite films that you watched this semester.

3. In light of our work in creating historical context for the films we watched, which film most enhanced your knowledge about a particular period of history that we discussed?

4. What films do you think could be added to our collection that might enhance a particular period of American history?

5. We will be adding the western genre to the film offerings next semester. Which westerns, if any, do you feel would make good additions to the film catalogue?

6. In what ways, if any, did the course enhance your appreciation of film?

7. Describe the film scene that stands out most in your mind as you think back on the films we watched this semester.

8. Which movie, would you guess, was the only film to win Academy Awards in the top five categories (Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, and Best Actress)?

9. Based on the films we watched, list your nominees in the following categories:

        b. Best Actor

        c. Best Actress
