History Day Research

 

This year’s National History Day theme is “The Individual in History.”  The seventh grade social studies classes at the Horace Mann Middle School will be participate in National History Day because it develops positive research skills, public speaking strategies, academic independence, and promotes historical scholarship.  Each student will choose a topic that relates to this years theme.  It is your responsibility to ensure that there are enough sources available for you to use to complete your research.  Please note that you absolutely cannot rely on internet sources alone.
