Due Tuesday, JANUARY 10, 2012Keep reviewing all notes on theme - basic theme and commonly recurring theme - in anticipation of quiz this Friday. Review all related homeworks including concept ladder stories and "The King and the Shirt" homework. Due Wednesday, JANUARY 11, 2011Quiz on Friday for THEME, both basic and commonly recurring theme. Review "King Midas", "Fish Cheeks", and "Flight of Icarus" as well as "The King and the Shirt" homework. If you never finished the stories, you should have already borrowed a book to read and / or review them. Due Thursday, JANUARY 12, 2012Review notes and examples on IMAGERY and THEME. QUIZ FRIDAY Due Friday, JANUARY 13, 2012Due Monday, JANUARY 9, 2012Independent reading log due. Unit 2 vocab: "Vocabulary in context" page 34, #1-6 SAT lists: Write a paragraph / small story using the words. Be sure the context of the story shows the meaning of the vocab words.
