Find, bring in, and LOG a reference to science in a newspaper,
magazine, advertisement, song, radio broadcast, or any other
media and write about the following:

1. Write a 1 – 2 paragraph summary of your article / song / advertisement...

2. Explain HOW your article / song / advertisement... relates to Science

3. What did you learn from this piece (article, song...)?

4. How does it make you feel about Science? What kind of
impression does it give you about Science? Does it make Science
seem like a negative or positive thing? Why? Explain your
reaction to looking at the ad., reading the article, or listening to the song...

5. What kinds of careers apply to the topic of the article? For
example, an article about climate change involves
meteorologists, geologists, news casters, and so on. You may
need to do some research to find the answer to this one!

Media: Ways of sharing ideas or information, with many people

5 Students will be randomly selected to share
their reflection with the class & will be graded on this assignment (5 points).
