You should have problems that negative numbers in them as well as positive numbers. Take a sheet of paper, divide it in half vertically, on one side put the problems (example 3(3n - 5) and on the other side, put the answer (9n - 15). On separate paper, redo 12 problems that you had wrong on homework or classwork on the operations with fractions. 3 of the problems should be on addition of fractions, 3 should be on subtraction of fractions, 3 on multiplication of fraction and 3 on division of fractions. If you did not have 3 wrong in any of those topics, redo problems in that area that you had correct. EVERYONE should be turning 12 problems on fractions in the areas stated above. 3. If you have any corrections you can make for your Organizational Quiz, fix those things tonight. Friday, Sept 16 1. Organizational Quiz on Monday: bring a sharpened pencil with an eraser, red correcting pen, your planner and your separate math notebook. Please make sure that all of the handouts are taped on pages in your notebook. NOTHING should be in any folder, loose, etc. 2. Complete both sides of the handout "Fractions Post Assessment" . You MUST show all of your work in order to receive full credit for your homework assignment. Thursday, Sept 15 1. Complete "Did You Hear About" worksheet. Show all of your work. Wednesday, Sept 14 1. Complete "Football Coach" and "Rock and Roll" worksheets. Show all of your work. Tuesday, Sept 13 1. Complete the "Boy Snake" and "Mermaid" worksheets showing all of your work. Monday, Sept 12 1. Complete "String Art" showing all of your work. Follow the direction which are written towards the bottom of the page. Use a ruler to connect the points. Friday, Sept 9 1. Complete the worksheet on Addition/Subtraction of Fractions. You MUST show all of your work for each problem. The problems should be done in your math notebook and the worksheet should be attached. You may leave your answers as improper fractions as long as they are reduced to their lowest terms. 2. You should have all supplies by Monday. If there is a problem obtaining anything, please let me know. I may have extras. Thursday, Sept 8 1. "What Is Bright" worksheet. Show all of your work. 2.
