Grade Six Independent ReadingAll grade six students will be required to read a minimum of 60 minutes each week. This can include books of their choice from any genre at their independent level. Teachers will provide guidance regarding acceptable reading material.A parent signature will be required on a reading log that will be provided and checked by the English teacher every Monday. Students completing the reading requirements will be invited to a reading celebration at the end of each trimester and a big celebration in June! Thanks for helping us develop a strong school-to-home partnership! |
