All Horace Mann Middle School students to go on a field trip to the Laborers’ Training Facility, in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, on Tuesday June 2nd. 

 

We will be providing lunch and transportation (school bus leaving Horace Mann at 7:30 am and returning at 3:00).  Parents are asked to make arrangements for pick-up or for the HMMS late bus.

 

This training facility teaches individuals interested in the construction trade how to become a union laborer.  The field trip will offer a tour of the facility and its beautiful manicured grounds.  Included in the tour will be: hands on use of construction industry equipment (with guidance by trained professionals); observation of construction work; a question and answer session explaining what the facility and construction trade is all about; and lunch provided by the facility.

Any student interested in attending this field trip must complete:

 

1. the attached field trip permission form Refer to field trip info;
2. a photo permission waiver signed by a parent (below). 
3. provide a check for $10 payable to (Town of Franklin)

 

To be eligible to attend this trip both forms (signed) with a check for $10 must be in the hands of Mr. Nosiglia by 2:00 Wednesday May 26th. Do not put these forms in his mail box or give them to another teacher. The first 30 students to submit all forms by this deadline will be selected to attend this trip. There is no need to bring a lunch.
