PHYSICAL EDUCATION
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

2008-2009

1. The student will come prepared to each and every class.

2. The student will show a willingness to try new activities and challenges and work cooperatively with his classmates.

3. The student will exhibit a level of responsibility by maintaining her own lock and locker in the Physical Education domain.

4. The student will exhibit admirable behavior and conduct.

5. The student will be responsive to different teaching styles and show initiative by assisting classmates when the need arises.

6. The student will familiarize herself with "lifetime activities" that will continue to be reinforced in future grade levels.

7. The student will demonstrate his understanding of the "Declaration of Tolerance" by accepting differences in fellow students.

8. The student will work to improve his level of fitness throughout the entire school year and this improvement will be documented in the fall and spring Fitness Testing.

9. The student will accept the challenge of various assessment tools used by the teacher.

10. The student will exhibit qualities of being a "lifetime learner" with emphasis on the concept of "fitness and health being of paramount importance".
