Auditions for the Drama Club’s next production, Just Like Us, will be held after school

on Tuesday, February 7^th.

Audition forms may be obtained from your Advisor or at the main office. Any students with questions should email Mr. McGovern. To audition, you must have a signed audition sheet; please be sure to read the requirements carefully.

If you wish to learn more about the production, google “Pioneer Drama Just Like Us.”

a.           Go online to www.ybpay.com

b.           Click “locate school” on the right.

c.           Pick the state & city from the drop down menu.

d.           Select Horace Mann Middle School.

e.           Fill in the yearbook order form.

It is very important that you provide the correct last name of your child’s HOMEROOM TEACHER.

Please do not use the Advisor’s name.

Please remember to keep your 2012 order confirmation & receipt until the yearbooks are distributed at the school in June.

Prices & Deadlines

$21.00 per book if ordered through Feb 29^th.

$26.00 per book March 1^st – March 31^st

$30.00 per book April 1^st – April 30^th

Online ordering of book personalization ( child’s photo and full name) is available for an additional cost of $5.00.

Pamper & Educate

Sanctuary Salon and Day Spa is sponsoring a 10% Give Back Program for Franklin schools. One day a month is designated to each participating school. Horace Mann’s day is the 3^rd Tuesday of each month.

To support your school and get the appointment time that best works for you please be sure to book in advance by calling the salon at 508-528-6890.

Sanctuary is located at 31 Hayward Street in Franklin.

 

The Late Buses have begun.

The buses will run Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

The fee is $1.00

Tickets may be purchased in the office after dismissal.

If you have a PTR Bus pass there is no charge.

 

All students who ride the bus must carry a bus pass.

The 1^st meeting will be Tuesday, October 4^th.

Topics covered will include: Recycling, conservation, fundraisers, community service and more!!!!

Box Tops for Education makes it easy for Horace Mann to earn cash for enrichment programs & activities for our kids.

Box Tops is an ongoing fundraiser throughout the year. Clip and save the coupons and send them in with your child in a baggie or sealed envelope labeled with your child’s Advisor’s name. They can be turned in at Advisor or put in the Box Top Drop Box in the lobby.

The Advisor group that collects the most Box Tops will win a pizza party!!!

First Collection Deadline is Friday, October 21st.

 

Important:

Based on feedback received from parents and guardians about the overwhelming number of flyers and brochures that have been traditionally sent home in student backpacks, we have implemented an innovative way to disseminate information.

In lieu of sending home paper copies of information we have established a website where all approved brochures, notices and flyers will be posted.

There is a required activity fee of

$50.00

for all after school clubs.

Checks should be made out to the

Town of Franklin.

One fee covers ALL CLUBS

for the year. We will be sending club information home with the students as soon as this information is available.

 

Students being picked up for clubs/activities are not allowed to go into the parking lot. Parents must wait in the

pick up line.

Reminder: Cell phones must be kept in lockers- not to be used in school for any reason!!!!
