National Parks WebquestTask:You and the members of your group are working for the United States Park Rangers. They have asked you to update their travel brochures for visitors to the park. You can create a poster, an "old fashioned" paper brochure, or a Power Point Presentation on you National Park. Each member of your team with have a role. Role #1- HistorianWho discovered the park?When was the park established? Where did the park name come from? At least FIVE other historical facts about the park that will interest other people. Role #2- Geographer/CartographerWhere is your park located in the United States?What land formations are found in this park? How were the land formations and park formed? List any rivers or lakes that are found in your park. Role #3- Tour GuideAre there any special plants in this park?Are there any special animals in this park? What are the park hours and cost to visit the park? What special programs are offered to visitors in this park? (If any) Any other information that you think tourists should know about this park. Role #4- MeteorologistWhat are the weather conditions in your park around this time of year?What is the climate of this park throughout the year? Are there any special weather phenomena that occur there? List any other important information about the weather in this park. Click on the link below to begin researching about your National Park.
