How do we celebrate birthdays?

Birthdays are very special. We celebrate each child's birthday at snack time on the day of his/her birthday, or close to it. Please note that no food items can be brought in from home, however, you are welcome to send in a small trinket/prize/goodie bag for each student on that day. Some trinket ideas are pencils, stickers, erasers, etc. We will celebrate the summer birthdays at an end of the year party in June. I need to request that invitations to individual birthday parties not be sent to school for distribution UNLESS all children in the classroom are invited.
