Dismissal Procedures

Dismissal will begin at approximately 2:30pm.

Kennedy Students are dismissed in this order:

1. Kindergarten/Grade 1 Riders & Van Riders

2. Grades 2-5 Riders

3. Walkers**

4. Busers

**First Grade walkers are dismissed out the cafeteria doors which are located at the back of the building near the playground. Please plan to meet your child there if s/he is a "walker." If your first grade child has an older sibling at Kennedy that will be walking home with him or her, please have the sibling come to Room 17 to pick up the first grader before exiting the building. Once this is accomplished, they will then dismiss out the cafeteria doors. If your first grader is walking home with a kindergarten sibling, the first grader will pick up the kindergartener in the Library and dismiss out the back Library doors which are also located at the back of the building near the playground.
