Dear Parents,

Third grade will be a growing and stretching year for you and your child. It takes lots of time and energy to strengthen and develop both academic and social skills. Listening, thinking, solving problems, and communicating effectively with each other are  some of the skills we will be working on all year long.

The following information is intended to give you some ideas about the many topics we plan to pursue this year. All third graders  will participate in a variety of curriculum related enrichment activities. Specific lessons and/or projects may vary in individual classrooms.

Parental involvement is a key component to a success school year for both you and your child. We look forward to working with you to make third grade a challenging and rewarding year for you child.

Sincerely,

The Third Grade Teachers
