Social Studies For Kids' Explorer Page This site contains links and information about explorers including Balboa, Cabot, Columbus, Hudson, de Leon, Magellan, Polo, Prince Henry and Vespucci. Links to others sites containing information about explorers are also included. Hall of Explorers The Hall of Explorers is part of the Virtual Museum of History. For each explorer, there is a page of information about the explorer and his voyages, a sketch drawing of the explorer and links for additional research. Discovers Web This site contains pages about individual explorers including Balboa, Cabot, Cartier, Columbus, Coronado, Prince Henry, Marquette, de Leon, and Verrazzanno. New World Explorers This site contains multiple links to over 20 New World explorers from Balboa to Vespucci. Also inlcuded are links to maps, ships, and resources about New World exploration. Picture pages This site contains pictures of Magellan, Sir Francis Drake, and Columbus. In addition, there are pictures of Spanish ships and maps of Columbus's and Magellan's voyages. European Explorers-Age of Exploration General links about exploration and links to sites about individual English, Spanish, French, Portugese, and Italian explorers are inluded in this website.
