Message from PCC Board

Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year! The PCC welcomes all new and returning families, and we hope to see you at our events and meetings this year. Because of outstanding support from our families, we are able to provide services and programs not covered by the ever-tightening school budgets. This includes in-school enrichment programs (author visits, classroom speakers, shows), field trips, teacher grants and reimbursements, classroom magazine subscriptions, support to the Student Council, music equipment, playground improvements, birthday books, Presidential Fitness Awards, and more. All of this is possible because of the help of volunteers like you. There are many opportunities to help out, from helping to plan our fundraisers to simply working a short shift at an event. A list of committees can be found on this website; if you're interested in helping out please contact any one of our Board members. If you're new to Kennedy, volunteering with the PCC is a great way to get involved and meet other people with the same goal: to help our kids get the best education possible.

Our first PCC meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 15 at 7:00 pm at the school. Meetings are held bi-monthly, and are a great way to learn what is happening in our school. We hope you will attend.

We will be sending out some detailed PCC information during the second week of school. If you have any questions about our fundraisers or any of the programs we provide, please click on any of the Board Member names to send us an email. We look forward to seeing you this year!
