Kennedy Compositions

Goal: To be able to create a story through music.

These compositions were created as a class. This project was in conjunction with a 1st and 2nd
grade unit entitled, “Moods in Music”.

Students are exploring different elements of expression such as dynamics, tempo, and instrumentation.

Both 1st and 2nd grade compositions were inspired by “The Peer Gynt Suite” by Edvard Grieg, most commonly known for the piece “In the Hall of the Mountain King.”
