Parents need to be aware that several cases of pneumonia have been diagnosed. If your child exhibits cold symptoms that seem to linger, a high fever and a cough that lasts more than a week, please take them to their pediatrician to be examined. If your child is diagnosed with pneumonia, they need to be on antibiotics for twenty-four hours before they can return to school. Please let me know if your child is diagnosed with pnuemonia as I will send a note home through the class so other parents can be aware of symptoms.
