Read Across America 2012

Read Across America 2012

February 27th - March 2nd

There will be many literacy activities throughout the week

to honor Dr. Seuss and to celebrate the importance of literacy.

Our theme this year will be "Readers Are Leaders!"

Guest Readers:

We look forward to having Guest Readers from our school and local community.

Whole School Read:

We will have a whole school read one day for a minimum of 15 minutes.

Classroom Activities:

Many of the teachers will incorporate Dr. Seuss activities into their curriculum for the week. Cross grade level buddies may also get together for some great activities.

We also hope our students will complete

a reading log during this week as well!
