Next units in Physical Education will be Pickleball and Gatorball.

Pickleball is a short handle paddle/racket game. Striking skills are practiced using forehand and backhand skills. Matches are organized and grouped from skill level and are either played individually or with a partner.

Physical Education class is an ideal environment for students to engage in large/small group cooperative/problem solving activities. The cooperative initiatives have been fun learning experiences for all grades and a great way to kick off our 2011-2012 program.

Gatorball is a team sport that involves soccer, basketball and handball. There are a number of ways of scoring and earning points for your team. Students will be able to practice the game skills and learn how to perform different conversions.
